ACADEMY TENNIS

The mission of Benet Academy Redwings Tennis is to provide a highly competitive, immersive and all-around fun athletic experience for Benet students. Our program emphasizes making new friends and connections, building self-confidence, developing a commitment to the sport and your teammates and being a part of something bigger than yourself.

We embrace our Benedictine tradition and proudly represent Benet Academy both on and off the courts. The Program encourages the ideal of the student/athlete and strongly supports each student’s pursuit of academic excellence. It also asserts moral and ethical behavior, develops character, inspires the spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship, and provides an inclusive environment for students, parents and their families.

A strong correlation exists between sports participation and leadership, as studies demonstrate that a preponderance of adult leaders have athletic backgrounds. Athletics develops the critical leadership traits—grit, resilience, collaboration, and discipline—that directly translate to navigating complex business challenges and managing teams.
